Fractional Human Resources


Human Resources is a new but natural extension of our brand promise to clients, and you will thrive if you enjoy variety and flexibility, are comfortable working with multiple clients and switching contexts, and are motivated by creating or solidifying clients’ HR practices in a rapidly changing startup environment.

We are seeking fractional, and/ or Part-time remote HR Consultants; you could be working on compliance for one client one day, and helping another with the creation of their culture, vision, and values on the next.

In this role, your client activities may include:

  • Providing guidance on employee relations issues, including assistance with disciplinary action if needed.
  • Providing HR policy creation guidance and interpretation.
  • Providing guidance regarding multi-state employment and payroll laws.
  • Analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues.
  • Creation of employee handbooks.
  • Strategic guidance in the creation of a client’s company Culture, Vision, Values, & Employee Value Proposition.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, communications, or equivalent discipline required
  • 8+ years of related HR experience
  • Prior experience working as an HR Consultant
  • Prior experience working with startup companies strongly preferred
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including workers’ compensation, union relations, and federal and state employment laws
  • SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR or other HR certification, strongly preferred
